John Hart
As a life-long woodworker, I embarked on the adventure of woodturning when I retired from architecture and urban planning.
The process of turning functional and artistic objects from found wood that would otherwise be left to rot or be trucked to a landfill.
I enjoy giving wood a second life in a variety of forms and finishes. The technical and artistic challenges of turned wood has captivated me.
Each item is unique and beautiful.
Please visit me on the grounds of the Elliot Museum the 2nd Sunday of each month Nov.-April.
