Children's Educational Books-Cookbooks-Journals.
I owned a Massage, Fitness and Esthetics business for 35 years in Stuart, Florida. I served as vice president of the Friday night art walk when I owned the spa. During Covid-19 I was forced to close my last and final location HEALTHY LIVING SPA. We helped and served so many in the community. Our little spa was home for many different clients with varied health care needs. We were a place of comfort for widows and widowers alike plus much more.
I graduated from the Rouxbe School of Cooking with a Certification as a Professional Chef, a Vegan Pastry Chef, their plant-based program Forks over Knives and in 2024 I earned a certificate in Intro to Pastry. I have been teaching cooking for 35 years in Stuart and have hosted hundreds of creative spa and tea parties for clients and friends. My most recent parties are event fundraisers with the Children's Museum in Jensen Beach. Helping keep history alive with The Questers Organization and our Jensen Beach Art League.
As everyone during the time of Covid-19 I lost so much that had meant the world to me, clients, my wonderful staff and being a valuable part of the Stuart Community. Fortunately, with guidance from above I gained a new identity. I started to pursue my culinary dreams of becoming a professional chef, cookbook author, and author of children's books. I also had time to hone my craft which is on going as a watercolor artist. Now I even teach at our local shop Sand and Sea.
What people don’t know about me is I have been a National Convention Speaker multiple times for Massage Therapy and a 10-year contributing author for that industry in the magazine “Massage Today.” I was a National Speaker for Fibromyalgia and also an international writer for them as well. My article on how to overcome Fibromyalgia was published in Washington DC and Australia in 2000. I am a contributing author to “Mindful Athletic Principles” available on Amazon and the money goes to Suicide Prevention. I also wrote “The ATM System” for massage therapist to develop their craft of Assessing, providing a more accurate Treatment plan for their clients, and then understanding the importance of Muscle Stabilization for long lasting results.
Please come by the second Sunday of the month on the grounds of the Elliot Museum.
